HU Chant
Chanting HU, an ancient name for the Divine while in a contemplative state, is a simple technique to open your heart to greater happiness, love, inner peace and understanding. Join in Saturday, December 7, 10:30 a.m., at the Center for Spiritual Living located at Nicholas Bravo 17, Ajijic, for a 30-minute group HU Chant followed by refreshments and fellowship time.
The 42nd Mexican National Chili Cookoff – set next year for February 7, 8, and 9 – is one of Ajijic’s biggest and best parties of the year, with all-day entertainment, a parade, and plenty of food and drink.
Ajijic will celebrate an ancestral bakery specialty at the Feria del Tachihual, to be held Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8, at the village plaza.

Sunday, November 24, the Reverend Dr. Jim Priddy will preside and preach at St. Andrew’s service of Holy Eucharist, 10 a.m. Coffee hour, a time of fellowship and welcome, follows the service.
The Culinary Arts Society (CASA) enjoyed a seafood feast Monday, November 11. About 40 members dined on some fantastic seafood and shellfish main dishes, and for dessert were treated to custards, flans and mousses.
