Sunday, July 24, Pastor Ross Arnold of Lakeside Presbyterian Church continues his “Great Adventure” series with a sermon entitled “Knowing Who We Are.”
The fourth annual Mr. and Miss Ribera de Chapala contest will take place Sunday, August 21, 1 to 6 p.m., at the Auditorio de la Ribera.
Lakesiders with a hankering for adventure involving food, fun and festivity will want to head over to the neighboring town of Ixtlahuacaán de los Membrillos next weekend to take in the revival of its Festival del Membrillo.
Expatriates in the Lakeside area, as well as the Mexican community in Guadalajara, open their hearts to help provide for the needs of the children housed at the Villa Infantil orphanage in Jocotepec.
