City airport introduces low-cost parking options

The Guadalajara International Airport has opened two new low-cost parking spaces to compete with several private businesses on the Chapala highway.

One is situated on the third level of the current lot, just 25 meters from Terminal One. Users must enter their parking tickets into a second device at the entrance to this level to obtain the discounted price, which runs to 119 pesos a day.

The second space has been opened just before the large glorieta (traffic circle) about 200 meters from the terminal on the airport’s boulevard. Shuttles run every 15 minutes to Terminal One and the daily cost is 110 pesos.

Both spaces offer considerable discounts on the regular parking cost at the airport, which work out to 280 pesos a day.

Private parking operators on the Chapala highway include iPark, Cheap Cost and Park & Fly. Their prices are 110 pesos a day and include shuttle service to Terminal One.
