Of the five “official” Christmas tianguis installed in the Guadalajara metropolitan area this year, the new one in the Jardin del Refugio is proving to be the most popular.
Relocated from its traditional spot in the San Jose Park on Avenida Alcalde earlier this month, the tiangius offers pretty much everything one needs in the way of seasonal decor.
Real and plastic trees, creche figures of all types and sizes, lights, gift paper, cards, and much more are offered by around 250 vendors. The Jardin del Refugio is on Calzada Federalismo at Joaquin Angulo, across from the Refugio Tren Ligero station.
