For the third strait year the Astronomy and Meteorological Institute of the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) opens its doors to the public Sunday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Together with the Center for Exact Sciences and the Physics Department of the UdeG, the Institute will give an overview of its investigative work, including how they transmit weather information to the media, appreciation of the constellations from within and beyond the earth and an explication of weather phenomena, such as “El Niño.” The Institute is located at Avenida Vallarta 2602, across from the gas station at Los Arcos. The visit is free.
