Charros falter as season concludes

With seven games to go until the end of the regular season, the Charros de Jalisco baseball team have hit a bad patch of form and will need to improve to qualify for the Mexican Pacific League (LMP) playoffs, which begin in the new year.

The team currently lies in sixth position in the general classification, and seventh in the “points” table (based on the results in the two “halves” of the season) that determines who will advance to the playoff rounds.

The Charros’ final two series are on the road to the Sultanes (Monterrey) December 23, 25, 26 and 27 and at home to the Naranjeros (Hermosillo) December 28 to 30.
