Model and influencer Paris Hilton visited the new children’s cancer ward at the Nuevo Hospital Civil in Guadalajara this week, offering encouragement to young patients receiving treatment in the recently upgraded facility.
Hilton, who is involved in various philanthropic efforts with children, brought gifts and painted and chatted with the patients before being given a tour of the new state-of-the-art department that is modeled on the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Hilton said her aim is always to bring smiles to children’s faces and provide a “spark” in their lives. “Every time I return to Mexico, I discover something new. This was my priority this time, the most important part of my trip,” she said.
