Luz de Malla, a local non-profit group dedicated to developing sustainable fishing practices at Lake Chapala, is running a series of out-of-the-ordinary Mexico tours to help support its activities.
What sets these high-end adventures apart from other travel excursions is attention to detail: first-rate air and land transportation, luxury accommodations, gourmet dining, highly qualified guides and limited tour group size.
Destinations programmed on the winter tour schedule are the Yucatan Expedition scheduled for December 2-8; the Chiapas Adventure, January 11-18 and Oaxaca – Beyond the Surface, February 3-10. Later trips will introduce travelers to Mexico City in April and Copper Canyon and the Tarahumara in May.
