Cruz Roja (Red Cross) Chapala fund-raising masterminds Dee Grant and Don Marie Fraser were all smiles as they handed over the keys of a brand new ambulance delivered to the local clinic’s Rescue Coordinator Marco Antonio González Ornelas on Thursday, December 13.
The 2018 model Ford Transit van is equipped with a stretcher, defibrillator, oxygen gear, neck braces and other implements required for pre-hospitalization medical attention.
Grant and Fraser were instrumental in raising 1,225,074 pesos for the acquisition through the Thrill the World zombie spectacle staged in Ajijic last October, and the November 15 Annual Golf Classic held at the Vista del Lago Country Club.
