In the latest change in Chapala government cabinet posts, Ricardo Razo Navarro has been appointed as City Hall’s new Foreign Community Liaison.
He replaces Aurora Michel Galindo who held the assignment from the beginning of the current administration until the end of last year.
Razo served as a member of the Municipal Council of Citizen Participation since July of this year. He previously held the position of Director of Social Development under Alejandro Aguirre’s first term as mayor from 2001 to 2003.
A native of San Nicolás de Ibarra, Razo was a long-time account executive at the Ajijic branch of the Multiva banking and investment firm. He also moonlighted as a popular local musical entertainer.
For his new government job, Razo will work from an office at the former town hall building, Avenida Madero 220 at the corner of Hidalgo, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. He may be contacted via email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
