A Chapala real estate company is handling the sale of an outstanding historic landmark in the heart of downtown Chapala.
The stately turn-of-the-century mansion nestled next door to the San Francisco Church is the home of Restaurante Cazadores.

Known to many as Casa Braniff, the property carries the legacy of the renowned Mexican family of aviation pioneers who purchased it in 1907.
Tony Burton published its interesting history in his tome “If Walls Could Talk.” Several Facebook sites have pulled copies of the sales ad, apparently under pressure from the realtors.
