Jalisco remains at medium risk

Jalisco is one of 11 states currently in the yellow (medium risk) category of the federal Health Ministry’s epidemiological traffic light that measures the risk of coronavirus in Mexico’s 32 states.

Jalisco moved from orange (high risk) to yellow on September 3, where it has remained ever since. The next revision will be on November 1. Meanwhile, 20 states are in the green (low risk) category: Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Veracruz, Tlaxcala and Quintana Roo.

No state is currently considered at maximum risk (red), and only one, Baja California Norte, is orange.
