An intense storm in the early hours of Wednesday flooded out 50 homes in several Tlajomulco subdivisions.
Despite the regularity of these kinds of episodes, the Jalisco state government said this year’s rainy season has been relatively benign, with fewer major incidents involving flooding and landslides compared with recent years.
