The Plaza de las Americas, the huge plaza in downtown Zapopan facing the Basilica, will play host to a festival celebrating the southern Mexican state of Yucatan, Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, July 16.
Expect to find examples of the state’s arts and crafts, as well as local gastronomic delights and other traditions. There will also be cultural offerings, including music and dance performances. The Yucatan Expone festival is free of charge, and open each day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
