Rosa Ena Jabalero Arellano, 66, is rising in the ranks for a shot at the 2023 title as Jalisco’s Embajadora de los Adultos Mayores.
After first winning Chapala’s municipal Senior Citizen Ambassador’s contest, she achieved another victory at the southeast regional pageant held in Mazamitla on October 2.
That puts her in the running for the crown in the state finals slated for November 28. The annual competition among elder women distinguished for their poise, self-confidence and charisma is sponsored by local and state DIF family development agencies.
