A Zeta gas truck loaded with 12,000 liters of propane gas half disappeared into a sinkhole last Friday morning at the intersection of Bandera Nacional and Territorio Nacional in Zapopan.

New president will fix GDL airport woes

Jalisco Governor Aristoteles  Sandoval said this week that president-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has promised to resolve the decades-old land compensation claims of farmers that have thwarted development of the Guadalajara airport. The airport is in dire need of a second runway, local business leaders insist. Sandoval believes Lopez Obrador will keep his word.
