Census-takers come to Lakeside

Mexico’s National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) is currently conducting the 2025 intercensal survey, which began in early October and continues through November 14. The purpose is to collect up-to-date data on living conditions in Mexico through visits to approximately seven million households nationwide.


Chapala goes big time for Dia de Muertos festival

Chapala is hosting an extended Day of the Dead festival this year, with diverse activities spread out between October 26 and November 2.

The program will feature a variety of special events scheduled in conjunction with the municipal government of Paztcuaro, Michoacán, distinguished internationally for its Día de Muertos traditions.
