Seasoned artist shows ‘mythical’ collection at MUSA

There is still a bit more than a week to see the striking series of large-format paintings that are the pandemic-era issue—done in 2020 and 2021—of Guadalajara-born artist Daniel Kent, which are showing at the University of Guadalajara’s Museo de las Artes until Sunday, August 22.


Conjunto roars back to life

State orchestra to restart at Degollado Theater

In a long-awaited announcement appropriately trumpeted by a publicity image of a French horn and two bluebirds of happiness, the Jalisco Symphony Orchestra has announced a five-program season in June and July in its home, the acoustically excellent Teatro Degollado in the center of Guadalajara.
