Los Cantantes del Lago is holding auditions for two bass and two tenor openings for their Spring 2022 concert.
Los Cantantes has been a local 24-person SATB choir for about 20 years and is very popular with Ajijic audiences. The season’s rehearsals begin January 25 and are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at BRAVO! Theatre in Riberas del Pilar until the concerts are finished April 6. Auditions will be held by appointment from January 17 – 20.

You must prepare the pages of a choral piece that are part of the audition. You will also need to sing 16 bars (no more) of any genre of music — a cappella or with piano. The final part of the audition is sight reading. Men who audition are encouraged to have choral experience and know how to read music.
