The choice of “Taking Leave” by Nagle Jackson, directed by Georgette Richmond, proved a great start to the fifth season of The Naked Stage Readers’ Theatre last weekend.

Ajijic children who attend the Saturday morning sessions of the Children’s Art Program at the Lake Chapala Society(LCS) continue to be the beneficiaries of an innovative annual event sponsored by the members of the Ajijic Society of the Arts (ASA).

Lakeside Little Theatre's final show of its 49th season, "Social Security," written by Andrew Bergman and directed by Phil Shepherd, opened on March 28 and immediately had the audience roaring with laughter.

After a taste of their magical music being prepared in rehearsal, it came as no surprise that Los Cantantes’ “Nature’s Music” concerts at the Auditorio de la Ribera on Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26 were a resounding success.

Naked Stage’s latest production “Breaking the Code,” Hugh Whitemore’s 1986 bio-drama tells the story of British genius mathematician and World War II code-breaker Dr. Alan Turing, 1912-1954. 

Nancy and Michael Robbins presented the March 10 program for the members of the Culinary Arts Society of Ajijic (CASA).
