For all those who enjoy observing the heavens, 30 telescopes will be set up in Zapopan’s Parque Metropolitano, Saturday, November 25, from 3 p.m., as a part of the “Noche de las Estrellas 2017,” subtitled “El Espacio Revolucionando tu Vida.”
The event is a co-production of the Alianza Francesa, Cultura Zapopan, the Astronomy Society of Guadalajara, CUTonala and the Club Orion. In addition to gazing up at the universe from the park’s humble environs, there will be youth workshops, water-propelled rockets, short films, conferences and a concert by Tapatio DJ Cesar Cosio. All are welcome at no charge.
