The Orquesta y Coro Comunitarios will present yuletide songs in a Concierto Navideño to be held in Guadalajara’s beautiful Bosque de Colomos (Colomos Park) Sunday, December 10, noon.
The free concert will take place in the “Pergolas” open space, facing the park’s “castle” in the “Colomos II” section of the park.
The relaxing, pine tree-rich Bosque de Colomos is one of the metro-area’s jewels, boasting running and walking paths, lakes (with ducks), plentiful birds and a sumptuous Japanese Garden, donated by sister city Kyoto.
Although there are two entrances to the park, the easiest access point/parking area for the more attractive “Colomos II” section is on Calle Chaco, off Calle Alberta, which runs between avenidas Patria and Montevideo in Colonia Providencia. The entrance to “Colomos I” is on Patria.
