What About Pets?

Again this month members of the expat community graciously stepped up and helped find homes for several orphaned pets. It is so sad when a member of the community dies unexpectedly; it is sadder yet when their beloved pets are left alone until someone can be found to adopt them.

Andre Bellon, president of Bellon Insurance, will review the various medical insurance options available to retirees at Lake Chapala during the program time of the Saturday September 6, 1 p.m. meeting of the Lakeside British Society. Bellon’s company also writes insurance policies for homes and automobiles, but this presentation will focus on medical insurance.

Upscale Resale

The Upscale Resale Bazaar is in the process of change in order to assist more area children. When volunteers opened the shop in 2010, the plan was for the receipts to go to Hope House and the newly established home which had just four children.
