As Thanksgiving Day gatherings are limited during this pandemic year, cooking for two or four is sometimes not the best idea unless you want to be eating turkey leftovers through Christmas. Lakeside restaurants, however, are offering a variety of options for those inclined to order to eat out or carry out.

The Lake Chapala Baptist Church reopens again for in-person services Sunday, November 15, 11 a.m.  Covid protocal will be adhered to, including masks, social distancing, sanitizing, etc.

Skate park rehab starts

The Chapala government is coordinating with local kids who frequent the skate park adjacent to the waterfront Malecón to redesign and upgrade the popular sporting facility.

Ajijic’s San Andres church to recognize US minister

A Thanksgiving Mass has been tentatively planned at San Andres Catholic Church in Ajijic on Saturday, November 14, 7 p.m., in recognition of the 50th anniversary of David Huff, of Ajijic, as a Catholic Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (Covid-19 restrictions allowing).
