The Mariachis de Guadalajara debut season in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB) gets under way Friday, May 21, 9 p.m., with the home opener against the Durango Generals at the Estadio Panamericano (Charros) on the northern rim of the metro area.
The series continues Saturday, May 22, 5 p.m. and Sunday, May, 23, 1 p.m. Only Mariachis’ season tickets (3,135-42,570 pesos), or combined tickets for the opening series (three games), are available online at boletomovil.com/mariachis-guadalajara/comprar. Tickets for individual games, ranging in price from 95 pesos to 1,290 pesos (VIP zone), are available from the stadium box office as of Friday. Covid restrictions limiting attendance numbers means that only 5,775 fans (35 percent of the stadium’s capacity) will be permitted entry.
This will be the first time in 26 years that a team from Jalisco has participated in Mexico’s summer professional league.
