A brilliant run of form in the second half of the season has catapulted the Charros de Jalisco into third place in the Mexican Pacific League (LMP) standings and secured them a guaranteed playoff spot. The postseason is set to begin on January 1, 2025.
The Charros will conclude their regular season with a three-game home series against the Naranjeros de Hermosillo from December 25 to 27, followed by three away games against the Águilas de Mexicali from December 28 to 30.
The Hermosillo series will take place at the Charros (Panamericano) Stadium, located on the northern perimeter of the Guadalajara metropolitan area:
• Wednesday, December 25: 6 p.m.
• Thursday, December 26: 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, December 27: 7:30 p.m.
As of December 18, the Charros had posted a 33-25 win/loss record, placing them three games behind leaders Hermosillo and one game behind second-place Tomateros de Culiacán. After a disappointing start to the season, the Charros have turned things around sensationally, going 16-7 in the second half.
