Around 30,000 people are expected to gather in downtown Guadalajara on Sunday, September 22, to demand that the Federal Electoral Court confirm Pablo Lemus’s victory over Claudia Delgadillo in June’s gubernatorial election in Jalisco.
Lemus won by 185,000 votes, but complaints of irregularities filed by the Morena party have yet to be resolved, even though the State Electoral Tribunal determined that the election and its results were fair.
