New test rule for inbound US travelers

A new rule announced by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requiring travelers flying into the United States from another country to test negative for Covid-19 within 24 hours of their departure takes effect 12:01 a.m. ET on Monday, December 6. 

US to upgrade travel rules

Jeff  Zients, the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, said this week that the U.S. federal government is exploring the possibility of mandating proof of Covid vaccination for all foreign nationals traveling to the United States.
