Due to scheduling conflicts, the Lake Chapala Society has changed the July dates for services offered by officials from Chapala’s Ministerio Público (MP) and the U.S. Consulate American Citizen Services (ACS) unit.
MP staff will visit LCS on Wednesday, July 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attending to people who wish to register crime complaints, enquire on the status of pending cases or seek counsel on legal matters. The regular schedule for bimonthly visits on the first and third Wednesday of the month will resume in August.
Consultations with the ACS team will be offered on Wednesday, July 16 rather than the usual second Wednesday of the month.
