Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre and the Association of Alumni of the United States co-hosted a celebration of international cooperation on Wednesday, June 10 at the Centro Cultural Ajijic, with U.S. Consul General Amy Scanlon attending as an honorary diplomatic guest.
The event marked the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence and recognized lakeside expatriate residents and organizations that have made significant contributions to fostering community bonds.
