Security fears

A major study by Guadalajara’s ITESO university released this week shows that 71 percent of Jalisco’s citizens feel unsafe.  “Unfortunately this perception is supported by hard numbers. In just three years the number of homicides has tripled, and the number of kidnappings has also nearly tripled,” said Guillermo Zepeda Lecuona, who presented the findings at the Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
