Airlines were a major target of consumers’ wrath in 2022, said the head of the Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) in Jalisco. Sebastián Hernández Méndez said most of the complaints in the tourism sector involved the non-compliance by airlines regarding aviation sector rules that determine cabin luggage up to 10 kilograms must be free of charge.
