Tuesday recitals

The free classical music series Martes de Musica y Opera will move house during September from the Degollado Theater to the Teatro Alarife Martin Casillas. The concept remains the same: no tickets are sold nor is there numbered seating. Just turn up before the performance and grab a seat.


Third edition of a cappella festival on the horizon

The third Festival Internacional de Música Vocal Jalisco Canta, featuring talented a cappella groups, duets and solo performers from both Mexico and abroad, has scheduled 13 recitals in Guadalajara, as well as shows in Chapala, Tepatitlan, Lagos de Moreno, Acatlan de Juarez, Mazamitla and Tapalpa.
