A Bare Stage holiday gift!

Calling all Pride and Prejudice fans, especially you ladies.

pg13aBare Stage is ending the old year and bringing in the new one with “Christmas at Pemberley” - playwright Lauren Gunderson’s take on the Bennett sisters’ first holiday gathering following the end of Jane Austin’s most beloved story.  Currently, Gunderson is the most produced playwright in the United States.

The dates of the production - Thursday and Friday, December 29 and 30, and Sunday, January 1 - break with the “last full weekend of the month” schedule that the troupe has followed up to now. The Sunday show offers female theater aficionados a place of their own, while their significant others are glued to football games on TV.

The theater’s promotional  staff say the cast of eight, led by Lynn Phelan, one of the best directors in town, will deliver a stellar performance, adding that, “‘Christmas at Pemberley,’ due to its familiarity in our culture, promises to be the cherry on top of the sundae.
The Bare Stage Bar will be offering our ‘Pam’s Special Sangria’ (back by audience demand ‘cause they’re so darned delicious)  and of course, our super special staff will be there to greet you and ring in the new year.”

So, make an afternoon of it, lunch before or dine afterwards with friends and welcome in 2023 while soaking up culture, talent and friendships.
