Escarabajo Blues Band honors the spirit of Chicago

A special evening of blues and fine dining is set for Friday, October 17, as the Escarabajo Blues Band brings a heartfelt tribute to Chicago blues legends to Casa del Sol Inn in Ajijic. While some may try to chase the blues away, this band is leading the celebration of them, one visceral note at a time.

Theater

• At Bare Stage Theatre, don’t miss Murray Schisgal’s “Luv,” a comic powerhouse—outrageous, sharp, and irresistibly funny from start to finish. What begins as a quiet encounter on a bridge explodes into a whirlwind of romantic chaos, twisted schemes, and laugh-out-loud neuroses. The dysfunctional trio at its center delivers nonstop hilarity with crackling dialogue, physical comedy, and biting wit.
