The celebrated Trompo Magico children’s museum is hosting a concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of Guadalajara rock group Luis Delgadillo y los Keliguanes on Saturday, May 31, 4 p.m.
Delgadillo and company perform songs for children using tales about their rights, tolerance, respect, all tuned to Mexican themes.
The group gave a few hour-long concerts at the recent Papirolas children’s art and expression event at Expo Guadalajara. Hundreds of kids danced, jumped up and down and sang while the Keliguanes’ puppets, clowns, mimes and gigantic human and animal figures romped with them enjoying the rock, blues and Latin rhythms. Even the most timid children were dancing before the first song was through.
If you need to entertain a child aged from 2 to 12, don’t miss this spectacular concert.
