It’s time to tune up your golf game. The 10th Cruz Roja Classic is coming up on Thursday, November 7 at the Chapala Country Club.
Great prizes are offered again this year with lots of opportunities to win. A hole-in-one wins a car, compliments of Dalton Motors (Toyota), as well as a golf cart from Alesso Club Car. There will also be prizes for the longest drive and the closest shots to several pins. Other prizes include a stay at the luxurious Las Hadas resort in Manzanillo and passes for El Tigre in Puerto Vallarta.
The raffle offers a week at a luxury condo in Vallarta or a flat screen television, as well as many more prizes from sponsors. There will be gift bags for the golfers and door prizes (dinners at local eateries, discounts and merchandise from stores and service businesses, etc.) for both diners and golfers.
The entry fee is 1,200 pesos per player; singles, pairs and foursomes are welcome. All players must register at the Chapala Country Club pro shop. The deadline to register is Monday, November 4. Spaces fill up fast, so don’t wait. The tournament is limited to 96 players.
The entry fee includes golf and cart rental, a continental breakfast, lunch bag and a mixed grill barbecue dinner.
If you aren’t a golfer but still want to go, you can purchase dinner-only tickets for 250 pesos. Tickets must be purchased in advance from the pro shop or at the Cruz Roja table at the Lake Chapala Society.
