Apreciation for graffiti program backers

Averial Miller (second from left), the president of the Lakeside Garden Guild, presents Michael Kavanaugh (second from right), the 2014 president of the Chapala Association of Realtors (CAR), with a certificate of appreciation for their continued commitment to the Wipe Out Graffiti program. On the left is Wipe Out Graffiti project manager Lee Carson; on the right is past CAR President Jaime Niembro.

Since the program’s inception in 2009, the Lakeside Garden Guild has voted each year to continue to keep the Lakeside beautiful and free from unsightly graffiti. The program’s success is due to the tireless work of volunteers and the commitment of the local community and CAR.  Garden Guild members urge residents to call the police if they  see someone marring a building or surface.
