Crowd-pleasing LCS Summer Music Fest draws huge crowd

Summertime and the livin’ was easy for a large crowd that turned out on Saturday, July 11 for the first-ever Lake Chapala Society (LCS) Summer Music Fest.

The program of non-stop live music combined with excellent food and bar service, seamless organization and a day of perfect weather was a formula for success. The LCS put the community gathering together as an alternative to the Can-Am patriotic parties held in previous years. With attendance up considerably from 2015, the new concept was qualified as a huge hit by special events coordinator Karla Boentgen.
