Lake Chapala Baptists

Asks Brother Bob Hendrick: “How do you know what God wants for you? The Bible tells us some things outright, such as in First Thessalonians, ‘… this is the will of God, your sanctification.’ God wants you to be pure, holy. That pretty well figures, doesn’t it? In any situation you can find God’s will by just ‘running toward God.’ How to find the person you should marry? Run toward God and see who is running the same way at about the same speed. How to find the job God wants you to have? Run toward God and see what job is in that path. When I first met the folks of LCBC back in 2001, a man asked me why I wanted to be pastor of Lake Chapala Baptist. I told him I did not particularly. I was not looking for a job. But I ran toward God and right there in the path was Lake Chapala Baptist Church. Point your life toward God and he will put his will in your path.”
