Chorus fundraiser

The Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus holds its sixth annual fundraising gala – Crystal Ball, an Evening Under the Stars – on Friday, March 23, 7 p.m. at the Casa Karma Boutique Resort (Barra de Navidad 1247, Conchas Chinas).

The cost of 1,800 pesos per person includes hors d’oeuvres and a sumptuous buffet meal prepared by resident chef Elvira Prado, and cocktails courtesy of celebrated mixologist Orlando Cano.  Guests will also be the first to hear the Chorus’ Spring Concert, featuring Broadway and show tunes.

There will be “dancing under the stars” and a silent and live auction. Free valet parking will be available.

The Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus includes approximately 50 to 100 singers from Mexico, Canada and the United States, as well as other countries. Directed by Alfonso Lopez, the group’s repertoire mixes traditional choral music with  musical theater, jazz and pop.  They always incorporate plenty of fun comedic material in both English and Spanish into their performances.
