Christmas traditions
With Christmas rapidly approaching it is interesting to see how the two cultures here in La Manzanilla have intertwined over the past few years.
Official start
Well here it is, the first week of December, the official first week of “High Season.”
Highway expansion
There is only one highway to get to La Manzanilla from anywhere and that’s Highway 200.
I have to confess that I was pretty smug about being able to deal with summer in Mexico. After all, I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie, worked on the family farm, and went to sleep in a house with no air-conditioner.
