Common Ground Fellowship / Little Chapel by the Lake

This Sunday, Dr. Wayne Cook continues his look into the various Christian denominations with his sermon, “Can We Fall From Grace,” this time comparing Armenianism to Calvinism. We hope you can join us for the worship service that starts at 11 a.m., then stay with us afterwards, helping to bag our despensas for those in our communities who need a little help. Afterward, you are also welcome to join us for lunch.


US Consulate resumes lakeside outreach

Officials from the American Services and Federal Benefits units at the United States Consulate in Guadalajara traveled to the municipality of Chapala on Friday, February 17, for outreach to U.S. citizens who reside in the lakeside area. 

New Lake Chapala Society board gets to work

In the wake of the controversial March 17 Annual General Meeting, the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) has seated new members to its board of directors and initiated the process to fill additional positions on the governance council.

Join us this Sunday at 11 a.m. as Dr. Ted Rogers presents part two of his series “The Substance of Things Hoped For” with the follow-up message—” Faith: Not a Synonym for Peace.” We also hope to see you on Easter Sunday. After the service on April 5, we will have an Easter celebration lunch which we would love to have you join us for.
