The firm, Edificación Industrial y Servicios, has been given 20 million pesos to finish the job by August 2. By then, the municipality should have decided which company will be awarded the concession to build a new market edifice as well as an underground car park. More than 700 vendors have been relocated to several open-air zones of the city after the antiquated Corona Market was demolished in the wake of a devastating fire that broke out on the evening of May 4.
