The new eatery will house itinerant exhibits, Jasso said, starting with a show of large-format photographs by Miguel Milo. Bruno will hold at least four major exhibits a year, he said.
Although the dedicated gallery will close, the Vertice project will carry on and Jasso plans to open an office in Colonia Chaplaita. He will also continue the seasonal shows at the Club de Industriales.
The “open kitchen” (cocina abierta) concept of the new restaurant will allow diners to watch as chefs prepare the food.
The stretch of Lerdo de Tejada adjacent to the Centro Magno mall has been transformed into a mini “restaurant row” in recent years. Jasso said he has been consistently approached by restaurateurs seeking to turn his gallery into an eatery.
