After years of talk, Guadalajara will finally be connected to a major Canadian city with a nonstop flight.
Starting May 31, 2024, Canadian ultra low-cost carrier Flair Airlines will open a nonstop flight between Vancouver and Guadalajara.
The twice-weekly flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays, on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with a capacity for 189 passengers.
“This route marks a milestone for our city, as we have achieved a long-awaited connection with the city of Vancouver, which will be the gateway to Canada for our passengers,” said Martín Pablo Zazueta Chávez, director of the Guadalajara International Airport.
