Almost 4,000 athletes are participating in this week’s Gay Games, with 22 sports being contested at 14 Guadalajara metro-area venues.
Following a vibrant opening ceremony held at the city’s Aquatics Center, the action got underway Sunday, November 5.
As well as traditional sports such as athletics and swimming, participants enjoyed golf, bowling, basketball, soccer, water polo and other disciplines in friendly, non-competitive scenarios. The games end on Sunday, November 11.
