When you look at all the various kinds of dishes that Guadalajara (and to an extent Jalisco) has apportioned to Mexico’s amazing culinary catalog, it’s not surprising that it is considered one of the world’s best “Food Cities.”
In TasteAtlas’ latest listing of the World’s Best Food Cities, Guadalajara places an impressive 12th, ahead of cities noted for their distinctive culinary marvels, such as Madrid (cocido madrileño), Lima (ceviche), Istanbul (lokum) and Kyoto (kaiseki).
