Ajijic bade farewell to the flesh Tuesday, February 17 with a full day of mad-cap Mardi Gras festivity, including the high-spirited morning and after-dark parades.

Mardi Gras in Ajijic ended with an evening brass band ... four, in fact ... one (above) of them playing for patrons at the various restaurants in the town square.
