This weekend’s International Jazz Festival will keep Chapala grooving with three straight evenings of live music, kicking off Friday, 7 p.m.
with a lineup featuring Hollywood phenomena Gordon Goodwin of Big Phat Band fame at 8:15 p.m.
Virtuoso drummer Waldo Madero fills the main slot on Saturday, 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday’s show starts at 6 p.m., with the Sherele Klezmer quartet showcasing French master clarinet and accordion player Nathalie Braux . All performances are set at the eastern leg of the waterfront Malecón, open to the public free of charge.
